QUESTION When is a greyhound not a greyhound?
ANSWER: When her name is Belle who thinks she’s a collie!
#Teampossible have been working hard with Belle getting her ready for her forever home and GOOD NEWS – they feel that she’s ready for her forever home. Woo-hoo! 🥳
She did go for a trial night with someone but sadly it didn’t work out. The lady felt she needed a younger, more active family, but thank you for trying.
This greyhound imposter didn’t get the memo about being a couch potato. This girl knows how to have fun and will play fetch for hours! And she’s super smart too. No Amazon package escapes Belle’s inspection upon arrival. And she’s a whizz at doing stairs.
She’s come on leaps and bounds around other breeds of dogs and gets her confidence from her handler.
So if you ever thought about having a greyhound but thought a more active dog would suit your lifestyle, better, please come and meet Belle. She needs an active family (older kids to play with her would be fine but she might be too lively for toddlers).
The “mission possible” team say she’s “soooo ready for homing” – just need to find the right one. If you are a fun-loving family who want a fun-loving dog (Belle could live with a laid back greyhound who wouldn’t mind her energy, or she would be fine as an only dog), please consider Belle. We’ll put you in touch with the Mission Possible team who will tell you all about this quirky girl.
8 months in kennels and part-time fostering, is just way too long to be waiting for a forever home. 🙁
Her foster carers describe her as “Amazing…Delightful… Loves a cuddle… Stunning… Beautiful…Incredible” they abssolutely adore her but sadly aren’t in a position to keep her long term.
They say, “Belle is a very loving and people focused girl, she has been spending her weekends at a foster home where she has been learning all about life outside of kennels and we hear she makes herself very comfortable.
Belle loves playing with a ball and enjoys chasing it around the garden, she hasn’t yet learnt the art of fetch but who knows what the future holds!
If you are interested in meeting Belle then please call us on 0121 426 4810 or contact us to come and meet this lovely hound at our Watford Gap Kennels near Sutton Coldfield.
