TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Bob is a real character, a real love sponge. He’s not like your typical greyhound, however – he has lots of energy and LOVES to play – his favourite is football and he’s mad about squeaky toys.
Bob has been with us since JULY 2017 and no matter what we do to try and home him, he is never considered. It cannot be his age… he will be 5 in April, surely its not his personality…. could it be his colour…. this lovely hound with white speckles?
One of our volunteers, Donna, thought it would be nice to raise Bob’s profile as he has been with us for a while so she took him in the paddock for a play and to take some newer photos of him. Here are Donna’s photos and write up…… We do hope it finds Bob the home he deserves.
“This boy loves to play football, he was so playful and happy and bought the ball back and dropped it on the ground for me to kick or throw again, He has so much love to give and gives affection in abundance and what can I say about those ears….:) Whoever homes this beautiful black boy will be very very blessed to have him”
Bob is very popular with the volunteers and two more of our volunteers, Helen and Keith, have also taken Bob under their wings and they went to our recent Waseley Hills Walk. This is what they had to say:
“We had a great walk with Bob at Waseley yesterday. We took Bob (or Bobby Boy as I liked to call him!) in our car. He needed no instruction at all to jump in the back, he was straight in there and enjoyed looking out the window while travelling along.
Bob was keen to get going up the hills and walked beautifully with his fellow greyhounds. He saw lots of other different dogs, with some running free, but apart from being a bit inquisitive, he was well behaved with no lunging or pulling. Bob walked quite nicely past a very long Bassett hound by the cafe and just looked as if to say “what on earth is that?”
Bob enjoyed a well deserved sausage at the end and a few treats for being such a good boy! Keith and I really enjoyed taking this wonderful gentleman out today. Thank you Bob for giving us such a great walk!”
DESPITE ALL THIS BOB REMAINS A HOMELESS HOUND
If you can help Bob find a home we would be truly grateful, and we know Bob would be.
Bob we will do all we can to get you homed…. Hang in there.
Call us on 0121 426 4810 or contact us and come and have a play with Bob at our Broadmarsh Kennels near Stourbridge.
