TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Just look at that face! Isn’t he just the sweetest thing? Poor Chase was in a loving home for 3 years but life has it’s cruel twists and turns which affected this sensitive soul. Chase who will be 6 years old in April, loves his humans soooo much that he used to go to work with his owner as he didn’t like being left on his own.
Unfortunately that was no longer possible and Chase was lonely and became distressed when left at home landlord said he had to go.
He wasn’t doing well in kennels so we managed to find him a foster home. This is what his foster mum has to say about him:
“He has settled in so well and is the biggest fusspot ever. Pat says, “He does love a lot of fuss and will lie by you all the time,” including a sneaky cuddle on the sofa with Patrick when Looby isn’t looking. 🤫 (We try and discourage foster dogs from going on sofas, but in Chase’s case he was clearly used to it from his previous home.)
The ideal home 🏠 for Chase would be where he won’t be left or with someone who can work on his separation anxiety. He was used to going to work with his previous owner.
He and Looby like to play chase and they sound like a right comedy duo 😂 Pat thinks he may like to be an only dog 🐶 as he loves his humans so much. But he may also like another dog to play with and snuggle up with but Lobby draws the line at sharing her bed with him. It would have to be an easy going dog who wouldn’t get jealous.
Older grandchildren who visit would be OK but not toddlers as he finds them a bit unpredictable. And definitely no cats! 🙈He gets on well with all other dogs while out walking and has turned a few heads in Beacon Park with his dashing good looks.💘
He sleeps all night now and wakes when they do. He loves his grub and has responded well to Pat training him not to countersurf. He now waits patiently for his food and treats. She says he’s a very quick learner and is very clever.
We can’t re-home dogs at the moment but if you think Chase would make the perfect companion dog for you once the lockdown restrictions ease, please get in touch. He has sooooo much love to give the right person. 🥰
