TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
A little info for you both about the lovely Cisco reported by one of our volunteers:
Cisco is one nervous ball of energy, but once he finally starts to calm down he is such a gentle, affectionate, friendly, inquisitive and sociable boy with a constantly wagging tail.
Cisco was quite confused about getting into the car and I had to lift him in each time as he backed away nervously. He jumped out no problems though.
Cisco settled well on the journey but liked to check where we were going. He settled happily while he waited in the boot as I got myself prepared to bring him back to kennels.
At the park he was quite overwhelmed by it all (not surprising given it was his first time out). He wasn’t worried by much but was on high alert throughout. He did get excited by fluffies but only because they came very close and then barked, so as they walked away he returned the favour. He was easy to handle and didn’t pull although when he got nervous he circled a few times. He got excited by a cat, again, he didn’t pull (don’t think he’ll be cat trainable). He was interested by squirrels but didn’t waste his energy on them.
In the house we kept him in the entrance hall so he didn’t have the stress of trying he stairs. He loved all the attention and fuss he got and would definitely enjoy calm older teenagers.
He was interested in toys but needs some practice understanding their point.
Cisco will benefit from a few trips out to orientate himself with his new world and then I think he will make someone very happy 💓. He has the most beautiful coat, like a mole, and a lovely curly tail which is constantly up. He’s a very handsome boy, all black with a very small white patch on his chest. Gorgeous 😍.
