TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Dan is a lovely boy and we think he would make a great addition to any family.
He is a real black beauty who absolutely loves a fuss.
He’s rapidly becoming a kennel favourite with our volunteers due to his gentle nature…except with cats so Dan will need a feline free household. He loves his toys as you will below.
One of our volunteer, Helen took Dan on the January Lichfield walk and here is what she had to say:
“Dan’s a lovely big boy. I think he likes his fluffy toys as he got one out of the office toy box while I was trying to get him ready. I thought we would have to take it on the walk with us 😁
He needed help getting into the car but settled really nicely. I had him on a harness and he was strong at times but he really settled towards the end. We saw other breeds and he wasn’t too interested, if they got too close he did pull towards them but just out of interest so he just needs to learn how to approach them a bit more gently.
When he came to the sausages, he got a bit carried away; so he may need some training around food manners, but being such a foodie, it will mean he’ll be easy to train . Overall a lovely boy who’s been with us too long.”
If you love a fuss as much as Dan does and want a playful hound, why not come and say hello, give us a ring to arrange on 0121 426 4810 or contact us to make an appointment.
