TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Flyer is a newbie in kennels but she’s already been for a walk in Sutton Park with the lovable fawn boy, Phil who showed her the ropes.
Our volunteer said, “She was very gentle on the lead. We met a spaniel who she seemed to like and she was fine walking past other dogs and didn’t pay them any attention.
She did a little low growl at a smaller dog we met but not lunging or snapping but it was her very first time out into the big wide world and probably didn’t know what it was, though her trainer told us that she can be a bit of a bossy boots.
She had a little paddle and then we saw a rabbit on the way out; not sure if Flyer didn’t see it, or she just wasn’t bothered.” That’s not surprising as Flyer wasn’t that interested in racing and took early retirement.
Flyer hasn’t yet been spayed and can’t go home until she is, but if you’re not in a rush to home a dog, you can come up and meet her by calling us on 0121 426 4810 or contact us to make an appointment to see this lovely girl.
