TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Happy by name happy by nature. Happy is just a baby really and took early retirement as he just didn’t want to chase that bunny.
Happy has been off site a few times and although he needs encouragement to jump into the car he settled down and travels well.
He walks well on the lead and started to get the hang of walking in a straight line by the end of the walk! He wanted to say hello to meet everyone walking by.
He gets a bit excited with dogs running offlead; he’s just interested in what they’re up to. Up close, he lets them sniff him. He’s not bother by traffic or loud noises.
Our volunteers say, “he’s a pleasure to walk, a very handsome boy and will be a great asset to his forever home.”
He also likes to have a go at the agility course set up at our Broadmarsh kennels – exercising his brain as well as his body having to think where his feet are!
One of volunteers, Donna, had him in the play paddock recently and said, “I took Happy for a bit of playtime,He’s a very loving boy who prefers a cuddle to playing.
He loves running alongside you trying to catch you and when he does he loves to show affection by covering your face in kisses and running off to do it all again.
Getting photos was tricky as every time i bent down, he saw that as a cue for more cuddles…and who could resist.?
No amount of whistling, squeaking, meowing (yes…really)..gets this boys ears up, BUT his tail didn’t stop wagging.”
This all sounds pretty good to us! If you’d like to visit Happy, then give us a ring on 0121 426 4810 or contact us to make an appointment to meet this lovely boy.
