Holly just loves playing, especially with squeaky toys!

We think she will be a doddle to train as she already responds and returns to the sound of her favourite squeaker.

Holly has played well with children on-site and isn’t toy possessive, so may prove a good companion to kids who love playing outdoors.

Steve and Claire, two of our volunteers took Holly to Mary Stevens Park and they said, “There was a charity event at the park with a live band and Holly was a superstar. We took her away from the main event and as much noise as possible.

A little walk around the park. Holly was interested in the off lead dog, had a little squeak and roll over in the grass then up again, no aggression, not scared. It was loud and didn’t want to flood her so after 15 mins we took her back to the car park and to the quiet field opposite. Again she was fine.

She is brilliant in the car, had to lift her in though each time and she stood initially. As soon as engine turned on, she lay down and looked out of back window😍. No travel sickness and quiet as a mouse. We then took her to a pub beer garden (Windsor castle Inn) and she had lots of lovely sniff around the garden area, a nice drink of water and some treats2Sit4. Very laid back and happy. She laid in the car when we got back, very comfy and not eager to get out

She also went for a walk with two other volunteers who reported: “Myself and Andrew walked Holly from Broadmarsh and our own hound Lexi on this lovely sunny morning through the cornfields. Holly took no notice of the horses in an adjoining field, too busy sniffing. She was strong on the lead at first, soon settled to walking pace although it was getting warm and enjoyed drinking some water. Holly was undeterred by the traffic on the very busy Hagley Road. I think Holly will sleep well in the kennel this afternoon

If this sounds like the dog for you, come and visit her; she’d love to have a play with you. Please call us on 0121 426 4810 or contact us to come and meet this lovely hound.
