TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Jimmy is one of those dogs that our volunteers call “kissy licky” dogs. He’s one of the most affectionate greyhounds that we’ve come across. His tail never stops wagging.
He loves to play and especially loves a game of football.
Jimmy has been with us for quite a while for the misfortune of being a big, black boy! One of our volunteers, has taken him and the other long stayers under her wing and is on a mission to get them a home. Donna took Jimmy for some well needed playtime in the paddock today after his walk and here is what she has to say:
“Jimmy is a very affectionate dog and has a very waggy tail,he was particularly taken with a purple ball that was in the paddock and loved it being thrown so he could go and fetch it and bring it back.
He wasn’t too fussed about doing typical greyhound zoomies,he was more interested in steadily running after the ball and laying down with it for a good old chew and He LOVES a good roll around as you can see!
He didn’t show any aggression when taking the ball from him (although he does hold on very tight to it) and happily waits for you to throw it again for him with a huge smile on his face.
Jimmy is a big boy and can be strong on the lead but once settled he walks along quite nicely, he’d be a great companion for an active adult (Jimmy does get rather overexcited with children) . He has bounds of energy and make sure you stock up on squeaky balls!
Jimmy has been waiting patiently for his forever family. Can you put his wait to an end? If so, please come and have a play with Jimmy at our Broadmarsh Kennels. Jimmy will love you with all his heart and soul and if you are prepared to work with him to get him used to the big wide world and small furries, then he’ll be the best friend ever.
If you’d like to meet Jimmy then give us a ring on 0121 426 4810 or contact us and come along to see him .
