TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Kenny hasn’t been blessed with bags of confidence but he’s slowly improving.
He’s a small boy at 28 kg and on the shy side. His trainer said he would prefer to be an only dog and would make a loving companion once he gets to know and trust you.
Kenny went out with one of our volunteers and got a great report,
“Kenny went on the Lichfield walk with us today. He pulled a little to start with so I doubled his lead around his neck and walked him like that for about 10 mins. When I let him have his full lead again he was mostly good as gold.
He is unsure what to do when he meets other small dogs but he seems fine with bigger dogs.
We met a family with children and he was happy to stand and have a fuss. In fact he was more than happy to stand and have a fuss from anybody, he got loads of fuss.
Overall a happy and friendly dog who needs a little bit more socialising with smaller dogs.
