Can you give this greyhound a home?

Just look at that shiny coat – King is a real black beauty who gleams in the sun.

One of our volunteers took him out to park just after he came in and this is his glowing report:

Took King to the park today. He’s a big dog but a gentle giant and a big cuddle monster. He jumped straight in the car and lay down for the ride to the park – travelled great.

At the park he jumped out and met a family with a young child who stroked him and he was great with her. Her parents put her in the car and started to fussing King who loved it. King and I we walked across the park and he saw an off lead dog running about just stood and looked and watched it for a bit and walked on.

We met a lady with a German Sheppard x who came up to him. He leaned on the lady as she gave him some fuss said she would love to adopt him but her dog would get jealous. She couldn’t get over how friendly King is he was great with her dog.

Then we walked down to the stream and onto the main road he wasn’t bothered by traffic walked back into the park on the car park where he met a lady and her Bulldog. Again he made friends with the Bulldog just sat there as he was sniffed.

King leaned on the lady as she fussed him and he the saw an off lead boxer with its owner and just looked and walked on.

He walks great on a loose lead he does like to lean on you when walking. We went back to the car and he jumped straight in and lay down I gave him a drink. A tufty ran past us he just lay there.

Anybody that want a nice quite dog to walk, then King is your man. He was just great being his first outing to the park t 👍
