Can you give this greyhound a home?

Pretty little Polly is just 3 years old – isn’t she a darling?

Although her trainer describes her as a little shy, our volunteers have found her to be a ‘little pocket rocket’ when having her daily walks!

She has recently been to the park for her first ‘off-site’ visit – a little unsure about getting into the van, she settled very well.

Our volunteer reports that she is quite strong and excitable on the lead at first – well, first time out, what’s not to be excited about?! – but as long as she’s out in front she walks beautifully!

Her first encounter with the local duck family was extremely interesting, but a good sniff was all that was required! She also happily stayed at our volunteer’s side without reaction when another dog came past.

She seemed a little wary of people stopping by but will have more visits into the big wide world to help her get used to the hustle and bustle of life.

She does however enjoy her food! A handy trait to have when helping to socialise and provide positive interaction with new experiences!

Polly would be helped by a human who can give her confidence in her new life with lots of positive experiences and reward based training.
