TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Robyn is a lovely looking dog who has been a much loved pet for the last 18 months. Unfortunately her owners have had their work patterns changed (they both work in the same place) and Robyn is being left for far too long – up to 12 hours some days. It’s because they love her that they approached the Trust to help find another home for Robyn where she can get the attention that she deserved.
Robyn knows her name and is good with children and other dogs She currently lives with a very elderly Staffie. She is crate trained. She is very playful and likes to play. Her cuddly toys need to be robust as she loves a good old play with the. She loves to snuggle up to her humans, loves ear rubs and is happy to accept fuss from anyone and everyone.
Her current owners say she has been as good as gold in the house and until they changed jobs and she is being left for too long. Robyn is being left for hours on end and appears bored and is scratching at the doors and walls in the house. She’s only started this since their work patterns changed. She is house trained and they describe her as a happy and friendly girl. She is soft-hearted but clever and needs more attention and stimulation than they can give her.
Robyn came to visit our kennels so we could give her a quick check and health-wise she seems fine. She had a good trot around the paddock and enjoyed herself there.
Robyn’s owners want what’s best for her and are willing to keep her at home until we can find the right home for her, avoiding the need to go back into kennels. We said we’d do our best to try and help.
If you could give Robyn the home she deserves, then please call us on 0121 426 4810 or contact us and we’ll arrange for you to meet her.
