TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Shauna is a gorgeous brindle girl who is confident but not over the top with it.
Our volunteer, Sharon, took her to the park in Tamworth and although she is strong on the lead liking to be out in front (that’s what she was trained to do after all), Sharon said. “She is such a sweet girl, loves fuss and attention and also cheese! She did see quite a few smaller dogs; a westie, beagle, and retriever, and each time she looked away and took no interest at all.
We walked done to the river to look at the birds and again she didn’t show much interest. Once in the car, she settled all the way back sitting up just watching everything through the windows.”
Shauna also met a pug puppy at a viewing at the kennels recently and although the pug was boisterous she took no notice of him.
Given that Shauna is partial to a bit of cheese, she should respond well to lead training to help her learn that she doesn’t have to be out in front now that her racing days are over. So if you and your pocket full of cheese would like to come and meet Shauna call us on 0121 426 4810 or contact us to come and meet this lovely hound.
