sybil
Sybil is as a petite, quiet and slightly timid girl. She is a bit shaky at times, especially when standing in one spot for an extended periods.
Once you have her trust, she is loving, loyal and responds excellently to her name.
After just a couple of weeks getting to know her in kennels, she now has the best recall of any dog on site.
She hasn’t quite got the hang of playing yet, however with each play session she seems to enjoy herself more and more.
Away from kennels;
Sybil will jump into the car with some encouragement, she does need lifting in on occasion usually at the end of a walk due to tired legs (luckily, she is very light for a greyhound).
She travels pretty well to and is very quiet in the car, she is a little fidgety with excitement pre walk but after a walk settles down quickly.
One of the best things about Sybil is she is an absolute joy to walk, no pulling on the lead at all. She likes gentle walks with the chance to take in all the smells she comes across.
She isn’t keen on other dog breeds big or small; she tries to avoid them where possible and if they get face to face with her, she will give a short warning growl to put them off, indicating a fear response rather than aggression. With a bit of patience this could be worked on.
She also gets on very well with her fellow greyhound kennel mate who is very energetic and boisterous at times, so could potentially be homed with another greyhound.
Ideally Sybil would live with an individual or couple without young children and/or other dog breeds.
