Can you give this greyhound a home?

Big Handsome Ted, aka SuperTed, has been with us for some time and we really hope he finds his forever home soon. This gorgeous boy loves to say hello and is a master of the Greyhound lean!

Ted is a big strong boy, but once he has taken a minute or two to settle down, he generally walks very nicely on the lead.

He does tend to show his strength when walking somewhere new and exciting, and therefore his new owner would need to be confident to walk a strong dog. Ted is interested to see other breeds of dog, but is very well behaved when he does.

Ted recently went for a home visit with one of our volunteers who described him as “a bit of a Tornado, but lovely with it” The home experience was all new for Ted and he coped very well. He managed the stairs, was not bothered by the TV and quickly understood that the garden was the best place to toilet – good boy Ted!!

Ted was very interested in all the new things to see and smell in the house, with a particular penchant for soft furnishings! Ted also showed his playful side, amusing himself by batting a squeaky ball around the living room, but gave it back without a problem. Ted also took a break from exploring to enjoy a cuddle or two!

Ted is described as a real foodie, which will help with his training, and we are sure that with a little help and guidance, he will soon learn the rules of living in a home.
