Toffy has been with us for a couple of months and it’s hard to understand why she hasn’t found her family yet. She is a cracking little girl, with bags of personality. A favourite with our volunteers, who get a lovely, friendly greeting from her when taking her out of the kennel.
She has been out to the park a few times now and has seen other breeds of dog. She is happy to meet big dogs and greets them nicely. Smaller ones she is more curious about and will pull towards them. If they ignore her and walk past she might look back after them and is then happy to move on.
She met a Bull terrier who, after an initial sniff, growled at her and she growled right back at him, this girl will stand up for herself!
She loves exploring and investigating new smells and weaves around making sure she doesn’t miss anything.
Toffy went on a visit to a volunteer’s home for a couple of hours, where she behaved impeccably, telling her when she needed to go outside to toilet.
She travels well in the car and isn’t bothered about traffic when walking along a road.
