Jasmine
It’s a mystery why no one has snapped up Jasmine yet
She went to our last group walk in Worcester and had this glowing report:
Lovely Jasmine came to a very soggy Worcester walk today.
She was keen to get in the car and after getting her front legs up into the boot she needed a bit of a hand to get her back-end up – it’s quite a tall car to be fair.
Jasmine settled down almost immediately and I didn’t hear a peep from her for the 30min journey.
At Worcester Woods she hopped out of the car, greeting my family with kisses and a waggy tail. When she saw the wide-open space and dogs in the distance, she got a bit excited and did the adorable show-pony trot she does 😍 but then carried on as normal.
Nothing seems to faze this lovely little girl. It was quieter than usual but she still encountered a range of dogs both off-lead and on, she totally ignored a yappy terrier and a happy labrador with his bawly.
She wasn’t fazed when my 9yr old son started crying (he finds getting wet really uncomfortable and his coat leaked 😳). The only thing she reacted to was a football, that obviously needed playing with!
Jasmine walked mostly on a loose lead, and managed any steps without issue (but preferred to use the slope if she could). She wasn’t interested in sausages, luckily Twiggy was on hand to make sure nothing went to waste!
Jasmine stood patiently while we chatted at the end, and again while we spoke to a family who have been thinking of adopting a greyhound. She was the perfect ambassador for the breed.
Jasmine clearly didn’t walk to go back to kennels so we lifted her in. Once the boot was closed she settle straight down for the journey.
Once back at kennels she greeted us with a waggy tail, hopped out of the boot, lifted her feet to be towelled-off and trotted back off to her kennel happily.
Jasmine is utterly gorgeous, well behaved but with a lovely playful side to her. We were smitten, hopefully she’ll find her furever sofa soon.
