Lauren Elise Hutchins was born on 29th October 1993. She was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at 3 months. She led a fairly normal life until her early teens when her health declined rapidly. In 2014 Lauren was told that she needed a liver transplant as well as a lung transplant.
Lauren loved dogs and fell in love with the grace and beauty of greyhounds. She had a cocker spaniel but dreamed to have her own greyhound called Peaches. She found greyhounds therapeutic and helped relax her breathing. Unfortunately Lauren died on 2nd July 2015 aged 21.
