Meet George — Searching for His Forever Sofa! ??

Gorgeous George is on the lookout for a loving home to call his own. After the arrival of a new baby, his previous family made the heartbreaking but responsible decision to help him find a place where he can truly thrive. And thanks to his wonderful foster mum Liz (and her gentle greyhound Jess!), George has spent the last three weeks settling in.

So… what’s George really like?

Here’s the inside scoop from his foster home:
?? Things George Loves:
• FOOD (with capital letters!)
• Tasty treats
• Being fussed and cuddled
• His cosy bed
• Snuggling on the sofa
• Car rides
• Walks and exploring new places
• Being close to his humans
• Watching squirrels (very important hobby!)
• Pausing on walks for a little “think” — then happily carrying on

?? Things George Prefers NOT to Share:
• Toys*
• His bed*
• Food*
• …and anything he decides is a toy*

*George resource guards and could need support from an experienced owner regarding this, he can be easily redirected with a sprinkle of treats and some calm supervision.

George is a super-affectionate lad who would do best in a home without children and would prefer being the only dog, although he’s currently living happily with Jess thanks to clear boundaries and a steady routine from Liz.
