Can you give this greyhound a home?

Looking to help find Lucky a home.

Someone will be very 'lucky' when they home this boy due to how rewarding it will be to help him grow. Unfortunately we think Lucky will only be suited to more experienced dog owners.

Whilst certainly no shrinking violet, Lucky can be quite unsure of people he doesn't know or know well, one of our volunteers went on holiday for two weeks and Lucky decided he'd forgotten who he was and acted like they'd never met, but the next time they met just two days later our volunteer remarked "he's a different dog!"

Lucky has a high prey drive, he's by no means the most reactive dog ever but it does mean he will need an experienced owner to improve his behaviour around small dog breeds, cats, squirrels and the like. Stairs don't seem a problem for him, but jumping into a boot will require a bit more training!
He can be quite strong on the lead but this improves quickly as he gets to know you provided you are consistent with lead work.

Once he knows you he'll happily take treats from you, similarly he'll play fetch with you once he likes you enough!

Working with a more challenging dog can be incredibly rewarding as an owner, and Lucky will certainly repay the faith someone shows in him.
