Can you give this greyhound a home?

Chucky a big lad weighing in at 39 kg and had a long racing career so it's time he has a well earned rest in his forever home.

His name might show up some generational differences - horror film or Rugrats cartoon - but this dog is an absolute star, everyone loves him.

Chucky is a sweetheart of a dog, he kennels happily with a girl and has so much love to give we are sure that all he needs is his own people to lean on and love and his day will be complete.

One of our BFGs, Chucky walks well on the lead and is super affectionate with everyone. He has been offsite a couple of times so far and behaved very well on both occasions. He will have a little look at offlead running dogs - but so will most greyhounds to be honest - but nothing more. He has happily walked past smaller dogs on leads with no issues.

Described as ‘golden’ with people both big and small, Chucky is an absolutely fabulous dog and when he finds a home it might be bittersweet for volunteers as they will be delighted for him, but will miss seeing him too.

One of the best things about Chucky is his eyes … he has a look that just melts you, we haven’t found anyone immune to them yet! Chucky is kennelled with little poppet Pippa and if anyone was looking for a pair of greyhounds, these two would be top of our list, they just complement each other so well.
