Can you give this greyhound a home?

Everyone is surprised that this gorgeous little girl hasn’t found herself a home yet, we were all sure that she would be snapped up just as soon as she appeared on the website.

This girl might be tiny, but she is pretty mighty too. She kennels happily with a boy with no issues, but we don’t think that she will necessarily be happy with another girl, nor will she live with smaller animals, she is all greyhound in that respect!

We think that a harness might be useful to start with when walking this sweetheart, but equally she has the potential to slow down and take things in sensibly once she learns more about the big, wide world and bonds with her own family.

What Fluffy really does well though is showcase just how much fun greyhounds are, and how infectious that sense of fun can be. On a recent outing with a volunteer she had a fabulous time, with the highlight being sight of a squirrel. She was excited on her walk, but didn’t go too "giddy kipper" and met all sorts of other dogs, greeting them all very politely.

Fluffy is one smart cookie and listens well, we think that she will respond well to training and she does enjoy playing with some toys, but doesn’t go overboard. She hasn’t seemed bothered by children playing, bicycles, balls being kicked etc., all of which suggests she might be good in a family home.

Whilst out and about Fluffy has checked out a volunteer’s home or two and she hasn’t worried about tiled floors, washing machines or stairs, so really all this little poppet needs is her own home where she can strut her stuff and learn how to be fabulous, fun and friendly with her own forever family.
