Another happy homing story

We love hearing from you about how your re-homed hounds are getting on and what they’ve been getting up to in their retirement.

Molly has been with us for nearly 2 months and we can’t imagine life without her. Her personality has really come out now. She absolutely loves going for walks and her tail wags like crazy when we get our coats on and she is most put out if anyone leaves the house without her. She is very good with other dogs and doesn’t even seem to notice little dogs who bark at her but goes crazy for squirrels. We’ve enjoyed lovely walks across Cannock Chase and Shugborough and she is happy to go on long walks.

She occasionally zooms around the garden for no reason whatsoever much to everyone’s amusement and races back inside for a rest.
After initially not wanting to eat much, we changed her food and now she wolfs it down, running into the kitchen whenever we go in there, lying in front of cupboards and generally getting in the way if whatever we are making doesn’t include her.

She is Sophia’s BFF who gets a paw or head on her arm when she dares to stop giving her lots of fuss.
She is a very blatant shoe thief, taking them into her bed, I think, whenever she feels she should be getting more attention/food but is very happy to relinquish them afterwards without any damage.
She is a very lazy work colleague generally lying with her legs in the air while I type away.

We feel very happy that Molly came to live with us and appreciate all the support we had from Hall Green.

Love Natalie, Matt, Sophia and Jack xxx
