Another happy homing story

Hi Tracey,
Just keeping you updated on Doris. We have had her for 6 months now and have just returned from a fabulous week in Dorset.

She has been so well behaved and very much loved by all that have met her. We have met lots of people who have homed greyhounds in the past and come over to give Doris a munch. One couple told us they sponsor two greyhounds because they are unable to home any more and we have heard a variety of stories of well loved hounds.

She has loved every minute of the attention and adjusted immediately to her new surroundings,even daring a paddle in the sea.She seems to have got over her car sickness now which is a huge relief for all of us. She even resisted the usual counter surfing in the holiday cottage kitchen. Time will tell if that habit has been broken!

However, we do seem to have cracked the tenancy to woof at other dogs and are pleased with that improvement. Just thought you would like to know we are a happy household with our beautiful hound.
