Another happy homing story
We love hearing from you about how your re-homed hounds are getting on and what they’ve been getting up to in their retirement.
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
I came across Ti by pure chance – our granddaughter Megan sent a picture of him to us that she had seen in the local Pets of Home Store in Lichfield.
We decided to contact the Trust at Hall Green and went to visit him with our other dog Ralph who is a young Irish Setter.
A few days later, along with our daughter Jodie who owns Ralph, to see how they liked each other. All went well with their meeting and we decided to adopt him there and then provided they accepted eachother in our home.
We had to wait for two weeks for the home visit as it was when we had all the snow at the beginning of the year! It was a long two weeks and the day finally arrived. We were all so excited.
He has been with us since. Ti and Ralph have become really good friends, although Ralph likes to play a bit more than Ti as there is a 5 year age gap.
We’ve never had any accident from him, he is well mannered when were are eating and never bothers us for tidbits.
He is well mannered with other dogs on his walks but he seems to love sleeping and roaching best and loves to pinch the sofa.
Although we’ve only had him with us since March, it feels like he’s been here forever. So glad Megan sent us his photo. Here’s to many happy loving years with Ti.
