  • In memory of Chris

With great sadness we’ve had to say goodbye to the handsome and lovely Chris who we’ve only had for 3 months.

Chris had what we thought was a leg injury, but it turned out to be meningitis. He battled so hard and never gave up, but in the end he was too ill for us to let him struggle on any longer.

Chris came to us from the Greyhound Trust with Mary, they had been kennelled together and had built up a really strong bond. That bond quickly spread to the both of us; both Chris and Mary have had a really positive and lasting impact on our lives.

Chris was an especially loving and affectionate boy and will be greatly missed, by us and his best friend Mary. Soon after Chris’s passing we took Mary for a walk through our memories along one of Chris’s favourite routes at Waseley. He will always be by our side and loved by us all.. Sleep well boy x

(The picture is of him smiling in the garden on the day we bought him home, the beach photo was him on holiday in Perranporth and the one with this shoe was the day we came back from Perranporth.)
