Princess Jill

Princess Jill was the first greyhound we looked at. We decided to have a look at some other greyhounds too but something drew us back to Princess Jill (her racing name).

She had the same name as my Mom and her collar tag number was 18, my birthday and also hers. It just seemed meant to be. She was a bit wild and crazy at first. Jumping Jill as she was known, could jump 6 feet in the air and continued to do so for many years! But she settled nicely into retirement. Was happy to be left at home to snooze the day away greyhound style.

Jill almost reached the age of 14 having come to us aged 2 and a half. She has been a fantastic pet, a good buddy, full of character, loved by many friends and family and never much trouble (apart from the odd broken bone!). Age got the better of her but she will be running free now over the bridge, no more aches and pains. Sleep tight Princess, we will miss you so much ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ’”
