Can you give this greyhound a home?

Our lovely Ben is a big handsome hunk of a hound. At 39kg he is one of our bigger boys, but is a real softy at heart.

Ben is still getting used to the big wide world and can kind find other breeds a little worrying, but the more practice he gets seeing these strange little dogs (they are all little compared to Ben!) the better his reactions are becoming.

Ben has been out and about with a number of our volunteers and has been described as “a delight”, “a pleasure to walk”, “loves a fuss”, “walks lovely on the lead” which is all really brilliant feedback for this lovely boy. Ben has also met ponies, and even alpacas, on his adventures and behaved perfectly.

Ben is a very cuddly and sociable hound, always very happy to meet the volunteers each morning and loves nothing more than a good neck scratch. Ben also enjoys playing in the paddock and loves his toys so much that he doesn’t always want to give them back, but there is usually a trade to be made for an ear rub or neck scratch!

As Ben is a big strong boy he will need a strong confident owner to take him for walks, certainly while he is still learning about how to behave when he meets other breeds of dog.
