Tamworth DOG Walks
Let’s get Socialising
Following on from the success of our Waseley, Lichfield, and Worcester walks, Greyhound Trust Hall Green has introduced a 4th group walk. These informal walks are a great way for greyhounds and their pals, both canine and human, to enjoy each other’s company for an hour or so with like minded sighthound lovers.
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
TAMWORTH PARK
Tamworth Park sits below the Iconic Castle in the historic capital of the Kingdom of Mercia. We will make sure that there are no Dragons, but we cant promise that the grey squirrel gang wont be roaming wild!
As is now set in Greyhound Lore, sausages will be available after the walk for all attendees with four legs, along with a raffle and merchandise sale for the Humans.
We look forward to meeting you outside the Community Hub building opposite the play park at 10:30 for an 11:00 AM start on the first Saturday of each month.
All dogs welcome but especially sighthounds.
Tamworth Castle
Meet across from the community hub, Riverdrive, Tamworth, B79 7ND
10.30am for 11.00am start
DIRECTIONS
Tamworth Castle Ground is well signposted around Tamworth town centre. Look for the brown signs. There are a number of car parks to chose from but we recommend the Jolly Sailor Car park off = Fazeley Rd, Tamworth B78 3JJ. Charges are £1 for 3 hours or £1.50 for the whole day. Then it’s a short walk over the bridge to the castle grounds.
