Can you give this greyhound a home?

According to our volunteers, someone somewhere is missing out on this gorgeous and handsome greyhound - could that be you?

We are all sad that this super dog is still waiting in kennels, we think that it’s probably a case of ‘black dog syndrome’ as sometimes the black dogs just get overlooked.

"Hi everyone

I wanted to tell you about my adventure today. My volunteer friend came into my kennel this morning and told me she was taking me on a trip to Lichfield. Well, I was so excited I dragged her towards the car park and happily got into the car (with a little help, it was quite high). I like looking out of the window while I'm travelling as there is so much to see. 🚗👀

When we started walking around the park I was enjoying myself so much that I was quite strong on the lead so my volunteer attached a lead to the front ring on my harness and that soon put my brakes on (she's a spoilsport!). I was much more relaxed walking like this though and my volunteer could give her arms a rest.

I met a friendly husky and was very polite. I saw lots of dogs running about but wasn't really bothered by them. An excitable cockapoo also lunged at me but I was really calm and just ignored it. 😇

We walked around the busy market and I coped well with everything, people, prams and scooters. I also walked up steps very carefully so I might be able to manage stairs in a home.

We then stopped at an outdoor cafe and I waited calmly while my volunteer had a cuppa (I might have enjoyed some yummy treats too 😉).

I've been out a few times since being at the kennels and all the volunteers sing my praises. 🤩They really want me to get my own family soon as I've been waiting for quite a while. It must be my turn soon! 🙏

I'm a really fun, affectionate boy 🥰 and enjoy being around children too (although very little ones might not be a good idea as I could accidentally knock them over).

Sometimes I don't show people my best qualities in the kennels as I can be a bit strong at times 💪but all my volunteer friends say I'm very manageable and well behaved when they take me to the park.
